These tips, learned from experienced players, will take your Rummy game to the next level.
Pure Sequence First
The most important rule in Rummy is to form at least one pure sequence. Start with three or more consecutive cards of the same suit without a joker.
Use the Joker Wisely
The joker card works as a substitute for any card. Place the joker in place of high-point cards — this will reduce your score.
Watch Your Opponent's Moves
Pay close attention to which cards your opponent picks or discards. This gives you a sense of their hand and lets you block the cards they need.
Drop at the Right Time
If your hand is bad, drop on the first move — you will lose fewer points than dropping at the end. This is a strategic decision, not a defeat.
